Which energy purchases qualify?
Tesla-installed solar panels are listed as qualifying purchases. Standalone Powerwall and Solar Roof are not listed; do not assume a referral discount for them or for a battery added to a solar order.
The exact buyer benefit for this referral link is unverified. Check Tesla’s offer before ordering; no cash discount or FSD trial is promised here.
Correction: this page previously promised referral discounts for standalone Powerwall and Solar Roof and automatic rebate combinations. Those claims were unsupported and have been removed.
Separate solar referrals from battery promotions
A Powerwall manufacturer rebate or utility offer needs its own current terms. Buying a battery with solar panels does not establish an additional referral benefit on the battery.
Check each financing, inventory or other promotion’s terms separately. Referral eligibility does not establish that offers can be combined. Keep cash price reductions, financing costs and software access separate.
Check the products and installer on your Tesla solar proposal before placing an order.
Before placing a qualifying order
Order through the referral link before paying. Tesla does not allow referrals to be added after an order is placed.

Is a solar discount amount verified?

Can I add a referral after my solar order?
Tesla does not allow post-order referrals. We have no verified advisor exception. Before considering cancellation, ask Tesla about your order terms, fees, eligibility and any offers or delivery position you could lose. A software trial is not cash savings.
Does existing energy ownership affect buyer benefits?
Buyer benefits are for a first qualifying purchase by someone who has never owned a qualifying Tesla product. Prior Tesla energy ownership can affect eligibility too.
