Tesla Driver Assistance: Referrals Do Not Guarantee Features

Correction — September 5, 2026 (United States). The previous referral promises or procedures in this article were unsupported and have been replaced using Tesla’s U.S. Refer and Earn terms. The original publication date is preserved.

A referral does not guarantee driver-assistance features

No fixed referral FSD duration or addition of standard and referral trials has been verified for this link. The previous trial arithmetic is withdrawn. Check the actual start, end and subscription conditions in Tesla’s offer. FSD (Supervised) requires active driver supervision and does not make the vehicle autonomous; see Tesla’s FSD guidance.

Standard features and promotions are different

Tesla’s active safety and Traffic-Aware Cruise Control guidance describes standard features and configuration-dependent availability. The earlier claim that a referral is required to unlock basic driver assistance was misleading. Use the specifications and manual for your actual vehicle.

Buyer benefits require a first qualifying purchase by someone who has never owned a qualifying Tesla product. Prior energy ownership can affect eligibility. Model 3, Model Y, qualifying Cybertruck configurations and Tesla-installed solar panels are listed in the U.S. terms; Certified Pre-Owned purchases are excluded.

The exact reward for this site’s link has not been verified. Do not budget for a cash discount, a fixed FSD trial, or a combination of promotions based on this article. Returning-owner loyalty offers are separate from first-time buyer referrals.

Before a future qualifying order

Open Tesla with referral code mate59032, check eligibility and the available benefit, then order through the link. Tesla does not allow the link to be added afterward. The referrer may receive a benefit if Tesla confirms a qualifying referral. See the current referral overview and ordering guide.
